International Malala Day is celebrated every year on July 12 on the occasion of young activist Malala Yousafzai’s birthday. This date was designated by the United Nations (UN) to honour the young woman who has been advocating for female education. At age 17, Malala was the youngest recipient ever of the Nobel Peace Prize. The day also honors the rights of children and women. To spread awareness among our students, different activities were conducted in the classes and the students participated enthusiastically.

Green Yodha is an initiative taken up by Radio Mirchi with the support of KP group. Team Radio Mirchi visited Hills High School campus on Wednesday, 3 August 2022 The students were made aware about the importance of tree plantation and how each one can become an environment conscious citizen of India. Hills High School left no stone unturned to bring a positive change through th students to ensure a greener society. Mass tree plantation drive was undertaken to set a new benchmark and make the city of Surat rich in flora and fauna. Many environment friendly messages were intimated to the students to spread in and around the society. The ceremony was grand success with planting and distributing of 1000 trees among our stakeholders.

World Music Day is celebrated every year on 21st June. The special day highlights the value of music in people's lives. It aims to recognize and honor musicians and young artists for their contribution to the music industry. On this day students enjoyed by playing different musical Instruments and singing melodious songs. The day was filled with music in the air.

National Doctor's Day is celebrated each year on July 1 in India. This special day is celebrated to thank them for their immense contributions to mankind.
The students celebrated the day by extending their heartfelt gratitude to the Dr. fraternity. Students made beautiful cards, gave flowers and wrote lovely Thank You notes for the doctors.
Hills' High School organized International Yoga Day in the school premises as well as in the vicinity of the school. To commemorate the event the students were taken to an iconic location 'Anuvrat Dwar' where in they performed yoga, presented a Nukkad Natak to spread awareness about the benefits of yoga.
This year the theme for International Yoga Day is 'Yoga for humanity' as announced by our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The school organized a week long program and the students performed yoga in the nearby societies. This initiative by the school was appreciated by all and the teachers and students participated enthusiastically in the program.
To every child her father is the hero of their life, On father‘s day our students took an opportunity to show their fathers how much they mean to them and thank them for the role he is playing in shaping their life. Our students made beautiful cards, wrote lovely poems and prepared small gifts for their fathers. It was a moment to cherish forever.

The students enthusiastically participated and prepared beautiful charts, projects, essays, composed poems and planted many saplings in the school premises the work done is really appreciable.

Innovation has become an integral part of our nation through which young minds are introduced to improve practical intelligence on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering,Maths). One such innovation is the Atal Tinkering Lab. It is an ideal ambience blended together in a meaningful, focused way. It is a workspace that enables young minds to shape their ideas with tools, equipments and through hands- on- do- it yourself mode. The lab will cater to different activities like competitions, exhibitions, designing etc. It will make our students active learners, boost their confidence, develop logical and analytical abilities.

It is a proud moment to share that Nitya Dhankhara of std. 9 secured 3rd position in 100 mt race in Surat district Khel MahaKumbh, and also won a cash prize of Rs 2000.
Swimming
Aarav Malavia of Std 10 participated in the Swimming competition. He secured 3rd position in 100mt back stroke and in 4X100 medley relay Swimming Championship.

Mother's day was celebrated in high spirit and enthusiasm. Keeping this special bond of love and emotion in mind, teachers made earnest effort to instill the importance of mother in a child's life, through effective activities, moral stories etc. The students made unique cards created poems to bring a smile on their mother's face. The children were passionately involved in the activities and promised to inculcate ethical ways to make their parents happy and proud.
